Naps

I have a 2 year old and 2 month old. Just curious to know what your nap schedule looks like and any tips to get them both down at least within 30 minutes from each other. Some days I’m successful others not. But I really, REALLY need both to have a good nap so I can clean, shower, cook etc Thanks!

I think it works best when baby wakes at 6:30 and toddler at 7:30. But my toddler is going through a sleep/eat regression so it’s been tough

Following this one. I need my lunch breaks! 😩

So the routine I had with my boys was both up at 7am.. down for breakfast by 730/8am.. little one down for a nap at 930-1030 and then both down for a nap 130-3pm This has only worked since my little one was around 6 months old though.. at 2 months I was still just letting him nap whenever and my older one used to nap 130-3pm still

@Jemima i like this! Although i do like it staggered a little bit because my toddler isn’t very independent when he first wakes up and wants me to carry him into the living room. Also needs food immediately so that makes it tough. Do you help soothe to sleep? When I do get them down at the same time the little one is in the swing or I have to bounce on my left and hold toddlers still and cuddle on my right, all while holding a paci in baby’s mouth lol ugh

On the days you're successful get "things done" on the days you're not oh well.

@Amanda i agree. But i want naps to be consistent so i can also have days to do absolutely nothing lol

As they get older you'll have time to do nothing.
