What would you do?

I am a single mum with a 11 month old baby. I am in my 4th year of residency. My mum helps a lot with the baby, she’s a retired doctor. But now she has to go back to our hometown, while I need to stay here to finish. So I have 2 options- Option 1-Keep the baby with me, most time in daycare and juggle extreme workload alone. Not good for my profession or for the baby, but we will be together. Option 2- send the baby with my mother where she will take her of him 24/7, he will get the best of care. But he will be away from me. Logically he should go with my mum and I will see him after 6 months. Emotionally, I want to die at the thought of him leaving. What would you do? Think for a moment and answer.

How far away is she going?

I am in LA. She will be in London.

Ok this is my opinion : baby is already use to be with your mom isn’t a new person and she will be in great care 6 months is not too much pluse u can try and visit them sometime between those 6 months and you can video call every day there is not need of stress for anyone

I trust mom more than day care Ik it’s hard but it sounds like the healthiest option
