Do you give your baby solids yet? I give my baby a puree dinner and some yoghurt before bed and he will sleep 12hrs. He usually wakes up quite happy too and gives me a chance to wake up properly and have a cuddle before needing a bottle. So goes around 13hrs without feed x
My 9 month old is still having around 4 feeds overnight 🙃 and she’s doing well on solids. I think it’s comfort x
Mine dropped night feeds at about 6 months, then started wanting a 4am feed at 8 months - now I’ve upped solids he now doesn’t need a feed so I’d just make sure they’re getting as much as possible during the day and really fill them up so they’re less likely to want to at night! I’m on 3 meals a day with my boy now plus milk
@Shannice same here! Max 2hours gap, Tiring but that’s how she is x
@Hollie hard to say as breast fed, he can self soothe without boob
@Alex yes solids since 5m did baby led weaning has 3 meals a day
@Cass tried more food not interested, and give more feed in evening before bed
Mine just started dropping feeds this month he’s 8 months. I think what made the most difference was just him doing more and being more tired at bedtime. As I tried everything else more solids, different times for bedtime etc. I think they all do it in their own time but appreciate it is hard going with the night feeds.
@Shannice same here! 4 on average and sometimes even more!!
@Rebecca a full night sleep just sounds amazing, he used to sleep through then 6m regression hit
It’s definitely hard going. He never slept until now so I was a walking zombie for 8 months 😂 if you ever need an overnight friend for solidarity feel free to send a message 🥰🙂
How much are they having overnight? My little boy was having 2 feeds but only 3oz maximum so we knew he wasn’t really hungry. He then slept through out of the blue (a fluke as he’s done it 3 times in his life haha) and we just went cold turkey. He hasn’t missed the bottles since and will settle with a quick cuddle. I will say however that he eats 3 meals and pretty much finishes all food so we know he doesn’t need the milk overnight
