Milk to fall asleep

What does bedtime look like for your 14m? How did you get them to go to sleep without milk? We want to eventually transition to her just having milk after she finishes dinner, then bath/brush teeth/book/bed by 7:30/8pm. We got my 14m daughter off drinking from bottles a while ago, just has a sippy cup of whole milk now. We cannot get her to sleep without milk. We try to brush her teeth after, but it’s pretty unsuccessful. It’s the only way I can get her to fall asleep. We’re trying to decrease the amount to 4oz and sometimes she only has 1 before she passes out. She usually sleeps through the night and self soothes back to sleep if she does wake up.

We usually don't give him anything to fall asleep but if he wakes up in the middle of the night we give him water.

I’m trying to wean now and she is not happy about it 😅 so no advice here, looking for tips too. Mine still nurses after every meal and several times a night

My little one takes a paci. It’s the only way for us 😅

We do dinner at 5pm. Milk around 6. Bath at 6:15 and he’s asleep by 6:30-6:45pm! We brush his teeth and do the whole routine after bath! He’s 15 months.

We do dinner 6:00/6:30 and give him milk after, bath, brush teeth, read, and he will fall asleep anywhere from 8:00 to 9:00. The transition was not as hard as I expected, he used to rely on that night time bottle to fall asleep but he’s been doing just fine without it!
