Losing my hair

Anyone loose hair after a pregnancy? I heard about it but I didn’t actually think it’d happen. What did you do?Are there any remedies to have it grow it back? I’m getting a haircut today and I’m a little embarrassed, even though it’s semi-natural.

I'm in the full swing of postpartum hair fall myself. During pregnancy, the hormones cause retention that minimizes the natural shedding we would experience, then 3 to 5 months after delivery, you lose all you would've lost in the past year fast as hell 😮‍💨 Haircut is a good idea, take your prenatal or start a postnatal vitamin to help, or a high strength biotin supplement to help encourage regrowth.

Avoid pulling it back and up. Limit washing it. Limit brushing it. It will come back. I took vitamins D3 and prenatal vitamins postpartum and it came out just not too badly thankfully. I only lost in around my bangs section so it was easy to hide

@Christina🤱🏼🍂☕️♈️ I work in a bakery so they require we have our hair up and back.I use to scrunch it and just put moose but that use to make my hair come out more.Im supposed to get bangs today but we’ll see what the stylist suggests.

@Savannah damn that sucks. I’m sorry. Yeah I’m sure your stylist will be able to help because mine was amazing. I was fortunate I kept up with my hair during pregnancy and postpartum. I never wear my hair up. It’s pretty rare that I do.

I’m losing mine as well. I didn’t lose any with my first baby 7 years ago with this second one I’m losing a lot

I thought it would never happen to be either with my first baby but man it kicked my butt! And my hair is falling out everywhere again now! But I'm here to say after it's all done shedding, it doesn't seem to be different from pre pregnancy. You could try supplements like Nutrafol, they're really expensive but I hear they really work lessen the loss. I have very thick hair so I'm not super concerned 😂

Yes! I’m currently dealing with losing my edges and I’m honestly devastated about it 😣

YUP. 4 months PP and it’s been falling out in clumps in the same places - and even more fun, my child pulls at the front hair so I’m losing it even faster 🫠 continuing to take prenatals and hoping it’ll grow back eventually. I’ve heard people having good results with nutrifol but haven’t tried it personally

Same I’m loosing hair again my hairline I hate this part bc it’s hard to find things to do to hide it and also not mess with it too much. With my 1st I just cut my hair but I want to give it a chance this time

I lost one spot of my edges. I’ve been putting Jamaican black castor oil on it twice a day. It has done wonders always. Has you should try it.

So, I watched on YouTube videos about postpartum hair loss…nutrafol is one way even though cost is high depending on your budget. Men’s Rogaine! It has the 5% minoxidil that helps with the two main types of hair loss. I’ve been using it for a month and I’m 3months 2 wks postpartum so far no hair loss but only time will tell. I know at this time postpartum my hair can fall out at any time. Look it up! Concentrate the foam on the areas that you notice where hair is falling out.

I have that too

Has it worked at all for you @Ashley
