@Chloe what did you do in the meantime. My baby won’t take another nap in te afternoon after his failed short nap. Then he’s miserable at night time but I can’t put him to bed early for he’ll be up at 5am. Feeling like I made a mistake starting day care
Mine would fall asleep in the car on the way home from day care most days. But if not, we just would feed him and make sure he was full so he would sleep longer. We also would put him down 7-7:30 which we still put him down at that time.
@Chloe ugh mine will not fall asleep the rest of the day. Which is why we transitioned to one nap in the first place. Late Afternoon naps don’t work for us anymore
And 45 minutes all day of napping just isn’t enough. Poor thing
Don’t worry, mama, this happened with my baby too transitioning from being with a nanny at home to being at daycare. It just takes time for them to adjust.
Mine was the same way. It took him 6 weeks to adjust but now he sleeps about 2 hours.
Mine was the exact same way. Once he was there for awhile like maybe a month he started sleeping longer. He just had to get used to the environment! Now he takes 2 hour naps at day care
