Mine was 10 months however I’ve heard that it’s not something to be super concerned about until 18 months. If he is pulling himself up and walking while holding on to things then I would just give him time, he’s headed towards it. You could try finding more mobile toys or things that he could stand and walk with support. If he is a quicker crawler he could be impatient and want to get somewhere faster
13 months. My son’s pediatrician said that as long as they are showing signs of progression and trying then it’s not a worry until 18 months
Hi do you hace a baby walker?
5-6 steps sounds amazing! that sounds like ur LO is warming up to it. all on their own timeline🙏🏽🫶🏽🙌🏽 my nephew did mayyybe 2-3 steps and not consistently, it was crawling everyday pretty much and then at exactly 18 months i showed him a receipt paper and tried to hand it to him and walked away and he just followed me taking so many steps! after that he was walking that week 🥳 get interesting household items they loooove non toys 😂
If your baby is taking 5-6 steps, your baby IS walking. Just because there's a preference for crawling doesn't mean that your child isn't capable so there really shouldn't be any concern 🤷🏾♀️
Just wait till he’s ready to fully walk himself, you won’t need to do anything to encourage that. My son started walking at 18 months even though he took a few steps at 14 months
