Feedings

Im a first time mom and im curious to know how many ounces your littles are eating. My baby girl turns 2 weeks tomorrow and she eats 3 ounces but sometimes is still hungry and will take another 1-1.5. It just seems like a lot. It is breastmilk if that makes a difference at all.

That's my baby too

Mine as well and we are on formula, but my other two did this as well as long as they are not spitting up a lot and growing well it is normal for feeding amounts to fluctuate only if they start losing weight or if their dr is worried is it a concern

My babies (Irish twins) both have always taken 4 oz of breastmilk per feed, every 3 hours (or sooner), since about 2 weeks old. Very normal volume for breastmilk fed babies. It generally does not increase in volume as they grow, either, as the breastmilk composition changes to meet babies' needs. My 13 mo old still only takes 4 ounces (only a few times a day now).

As of now my daughter takes about 2 to 3 oz she's 8 days old, but my son who is 2 now went thru spurts of cluster feeding as he got older. As long as she don't spit up alot I would say feed her more her body will spit up what she can't handle.

My son is 4 Weeks and he drinks anywhere from 4-6ounces depending on how hungry he is. This is mostly breast milk with the occasional formula added in.

Hey girl my baby girl too I talked to my pediatrician about it and she said it’s totally fine/normal now I feed my now 3 week old 3 oz per feed and she’s loving it 😂

Every baby is different I worked in child care for a couple years I seen 6 month old only eat as little as 4 ounce per feed be happy and other drink 7 ounce just do what ever makes your baby happy
