Breast Pads

For those who are breastfeeding, are you still wearing breast pads? I’m still finding the need to wear disposable breast pads in my bra, especially overnight. I thought the need would have passed by now, but is it just something to always wear while BF?

Almost 6 months ebf and still having to wear them day and night! If I’m not wearing one when feeding on the opposite side, my let down soaks me!😅

@Abi Okay this is good to know 🤣 I thought i wouldn’t have to wear them once my supply regulated but the need is still very much there! 🥲

I thought I was past this too so went without a few nights but woke up to milk leaks in bed this morning 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes I still have to all day and night as I still leak sometimes from the other boob when feeding!

I put it all the time 😅

Thanks girls, I thought I was the only one so good to know others are still going through it!

I’m the same as Abi. I generally don’t leak if I’m just out and about but my other boob leaks when I’m feeding. With my first baby, I fed for just over a year and needed to wear them for the full year.

Yes still wearing and baby will be 6 months at the end of April. I wore them for over a year when bf my girl.

Day and night! I leak as soon as I start feeding/go too long overnight (although this hasn’t been a thing recently) lol

Thanks for asking this as I was starting to wonder if it was just me. Almost 6 months and still wearing day and night. My LO sometimes won’t feed when we’re out and about so I still get occasional leaks or she’ll start then pull away which is less then ideal 🤦🏻‍♀️

5 and a half month baby, I have to wear cup collectors as I leak that much I soak through pads!! Was hoping it would have stopped by now 🤣

I have the reusable pads now from lanisoh they work pretty well. I used disposable ones at first but now the leakage is slightly less the reusable ones are worth a try
