Bottles in the night

So I used to breastfeed, now my baby is basically on formula. 3 meals a day, 1-2 snacks. Sometimes she won't eat much othr times she will eat well. In the night, she will wake 1-3 times and two of them wanting milk and will drink 5-6oz each time. Is this normal?? It's the only thing that settles her back to sleep. Obviously when I was breastfeeding her and she woke in the night I'd put her on the boob to get her to resettle/ Fall asleep and I've not put her on the boob in the night for the past 3 days at all. I try to calm her down other ways but she just seems hungry. She has a bottle in the morning, then before her afternoon nap, then before bed.. then in the night she will have 1-2 bottles so that's basically 4/5 in 24 hours.

My son is 10 months and still most times has two bottles . He doesn’t eat much at all so I think that’s why but he’s really a bottle baby

My son is the same, I had a health visitor appointment recently and they told me he should be eating more and having less bottles... I was like cheers thanks for the advice 🙄 but how do I do that?!?! I feel bad withholding a bottle if he's hungry and wants it

@Cherrelle exactly they told me if he doesn’t eat the food I shouldn’t give him a bottle and he’ll eat but I can’t help it . Can’t watch him cry when he’s hungry

I had similar with my son. I went from breastfeeding to bottles. After about 2/3 weeks of giving a bottle at night rather than breastfeeding he started going until 4/5am without wanting a feed and then gradually got until 6/7am :) this happened just before he turned 10 months
