You can try power pumping. You'll pump for 20 minutes, rest 10, pump 10, rest 10, and then pump 10. You can also try adding in brewer's yeast. I add 1 tbsp to my oatmeal and smoothie. This is the one I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KNYN7F4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I've tried another that was really bitter and this one is actually pretty good. It does seem to help my supply. I like to make lactation cookies too. This is the recipe I use: https://www.bunsenburnerbakery.com/lactation-cookies-oatmeal-chocolate-chip/
3oz each side is an entirely normal amount to pump. Some people produce more from one boob but it's rare tbh. It doesn't go up as they get older. It changes in calories and nutrition as they get older to sustain them. You can try power pumping if you like but just to let you know if you don't get more than this then it's normal and there's nothing wrong. I feed off both sides every feed when I feed anyway.
Hiya, just been through the same myself but after lots of stressing I decided to proceed with formula. Having some regrets and wishing I could relactate now. I found the following helpful: Stimulate the breast every 2-3 hours Breast massage in or after a shower Eat lots of protein and enough calories Eat oats, flax, brewers yeast and healthy grains Hydrate as much as possible & electrolytes Stress decreases supply, don't be hard on urself and know you can always supplement with formula. Pump 20 mins, 10 mins off, then 10 mins per side, 10 off (for up to an hour). As much skin to skin as possible to stimulate oxytocin Pump for 10 mins after you stop producing, to encourage let down
