Still breastfeeding?????

Our babies are now 14 1/2 months going on 15 months now. Is anyone still breastfeeding especially at night for them to go to sleep ??? I feel like im alone on this. Weaning has been terrible my son will scream his lungs out and wont stop unless he breastfeeds to sleep. He does not do the rocking and cradling to sleep he wants the boob on demand. 😩☹️😩. Ps. He eats food. Good. But he still wants to breastfeed. Over a bottle.

I’m in the same boat over here. My daughter was a Velcro baby so it’s been pretty hard even for her naps during the day

My daughter is the same way & the same exact age !

We still do boob at bedtime and morning wakeup, and naptime if I'm home, but when I'm working in office my husband can still get her to nap without *most of the time*. If she wakes in the middle of the night (which she still does periodically), she will comfort nurse too. I am not super concerned about weaning yet as AAP recommends nursing until 2 y/o. I have chilled out on my pumping (i pretty much only pump when I'm away from her longer than 6 hours, so once or twice during my workday) and I don't freeze milk anymore or worry about my supply. She is switched over to whole milk entirely now so any extra breast milk is just for "fun" lol. She does not typically fall asleep on the boob every night now (about 50% I'd say) but she still enjoys it for comfort so I'm fine with continuing it for now personally. I will probably slowly start trying to decrease time even further every month until she's using a stuffy or something else for comfort by age 2.

We still are! Especially for middle of the night wakings.

We are still breastfeeding. We do morning, nap time, and bedtime feedings. She will also ask for it sometimes in between nap and bedtime. We average 3-4 times a day.

Okay omg. Great im not alone. I kept pressuring myself that at 15 months i will completely stop breastfeeding but its been hell on earth to do so.

Definitely not alone. I don’t think we will stop completely any time soon personally. Just because you can stop at a year doesn’t necessarily mean you should. I plan to keep breastfeeding at least until 18 months but possibly even until she’s 2.

My baby LOVES his milk. And doesn't show any signs of slowing down anytime soon. He's been teething lately and been wanting to nurse more frequently so it's been a little rough this last week or so. We cosleep and that's the only way I can handle to multiple night nursing. Typically I think he's nursing about 4 times during the day and then 2 maybe 3 times at night once I'm in bed. I am going to follow his lead for now since it's still working for us and just see how things go.

I'm a human pacifier 😅 that's about it

Yes, I am still exclusively breastfeeding my almost 15 month old baby boy, along with three meals and some snacks. I plan to continue doing this for at least two years!
