I had mine back straight away!
I EBF too, with solids started at 6 months, and I got my period back at exactly 3 months postpartum. Your milk supply shouldn’t change but you may find, especially in the beginning, that you may produce slightly less during your period and baby might want to nurse a bit more. The taste of breastmilk changes slightly when we have our periods too so might just be a sec for baby to adjust, or might be absolutely fine. I was advised to increased my calcium, magnesium, and iron intake in the few days leading up to it as well as during. I’m not sure if it was coincidental but it seemed to have helped and now I don’t notice any difference with the way my daughter feeds.
Thank you for your comments, it’s very helpful
Once at the beginning of March
I stopped breast feeding 2 weeks ago after slowly weaning on to formula and still no period
I had my period back at the beginning and it used to affect my supply but I haven’t had one in 4 months now. I’m EBF from beginning. (I’m not pregnant)
