Yes I think I'm more overwhelmed than excited at the moment! It's hard to feel connected earlier on I think, especially if you're feeling rough. I think it's normal, it means you're taking the new responsibility and change seriously! Here to chat if you want x
You’ve totally got this. My doc and also research online suggests obesity itself isn’t the issue, it’s just usually obese people don’t exercise and have poor diets. So try and do some walking and eat as well as you can considering cravings & aversions. Just try take care of baby as much as you can so it develops into a strong and healthy boy or girl ♥️
In first time mum currently 8 weeks today and feel like I’m going into the unknown. Not really got a lot of symptoms which send my anxiety rocket high. Had a scan at 4 weeks and got told I was definitely pregnant but due another on Wednesday and just don’t know what to expect. Any advice would be great. The having no sickness worries me the most x
It’s so nice to have such a friendly community on here - really makes you feel less alone! I’ve also not had many symptoms at all - mostly fatigue and sore boobs, so it makes you question if it’s normal and raises anxiety, but what I’m learning is that there’s no one rule fits all and every woman is different so all you can do is breathe and do your best throughout your pregnancy journey. X
I was the same with my first just a few years younger and I was so anxious up until 12 weeks and then it calmed down after the first scan and I'm just as anxious if not worse now with my second. My first was an 8lb baby and I was 14/15 stone at the time but she was healthy. I'm always happy to chat if you need to rant
