It’s supply and demand so removing milk more often is the only actual way to up supply. But 4oz is the top end of average pumping output when replacing a feed. Why do you need to up your supply further if you’re getting a full bottle’s worth each time?

How long do you pump? I usually keep pumping after it’s done to get more milk. So about 4 times? Not sure if that’s good but I try to get as much milk out as possible. Usually I get about 7 ounces from those pumps session.
@Rachel I pump for about 30 min and hand express after 😬
@Star my pump goes for 30 mins but I usually will do another 30 and over again 😅 I can’t do hand express my breast are too sore for that 😩
@Star you can use breast milk in baths?
@Kimberly what are milk cups? Where can I find them? Like good ones so I can wear them at work when I go back?
@Star why don’t you try the drinks everyone is doing for there milk supply? Or body armor? I’m currently drinking them but not sure if they’re working tbh. But I heard they help to up supplies?
@Rachel I've tried but they don't seem to be working for me. And yes! Breast milk is sooo good for their skin and helps with baby acne!!
@Rachel do you pump before or after bf? I’m struggling atm as when I pump after she’s had a feed by time she wants a feed next my milk glow is really slow and I feel like it’s not much so she cries so so bad and then I end up giving her a bottle :/
@Amber I pump when I wake up and than I’ll bf her and after I’ll pump whatever I have left and while she’s sleep I’ll wait about 2 hour after I bf or after I pump to do another session. That’s every 30mins of pumping. No less.
@Amber my right breast she can’t seem to latch good on that. So I just pump on that side. Every time I bf her there she makes that breast bleed I’ve tried every position nothing. The left she latches very well. But I’m still trying to get her latch on my right but it’s very sore at the moment.
So how many pumping sessions do you do in da day in total? My baby only takes one breast each session I try offer her the 2nd breast but she’s so sleepy n refuses it

@Rachel does that also include midnight pump? I get so tired nursing her throughout the night that I stopped my midnight pump as I’m sure you have to wait 30mins after her nursing to pump? Xx
@Amber around 2 or 6 I usually get up to pump so midnight about 1 or 2 times cause usually I’ll bf her through the night so I don’t really need to pump. I only pump night if im engorged.

I found wearing those milk capture cups often and for long period of time, helped me increase my supply
