Freezer

I’m planning to stop pumping and just use my entire freezer stash. How do you defrost? Should I move the next days worth of bags from the freezer to the fridge at night time ready for morning? What do you do if they’re not entirely defrosted by morning? Tia

i prep the bottles the night before or the morning of with how much ounces my LO eats. you could also run your bag under warm water to thaw it out quicker if you need milk then and there!

I do that too currently using the pitcher method, but when I’m going to be used frozen only I’m unsure where to start with defrosting and continuing this! X

i go for the oldest milk in the stash. mine is only about a month old at the most since i’m only 6 weeks pp and my baby only eats 3-4 ounces per feeding right now

I used to take bags out the night before and move them to the fridge it would take almost 24hrs to defrost and even then would still have ice crystals in 😂 then the next night I used the frozen bags to prep the bottles for the next day and take more out :) worked really well
