Baby is bouncing his legs up and down and also flapping his arms… whilst this could be a form of stimming, it doesn’t necessarily mean autism! This arm/leg movement can be very normal behaviour for babies as they are discovering how their arms and legs work and are using them in different ways. If the baby was in a baby bouncer for example, this would be considered normal behaviour as they are just bouncing up and down, developing arm and leg strength and exploring their limb function. It is extremely hard to diagnose autism in a child that is only 6 months old from these movements alone… I would try and avoid vids like this as it can make you worry about things that your child is doing when they are just practicing and developing typical movements that they will need for daily life. (I’m a therapist specialising in neurodivergent children and young people).
This is normal 6 month old behaviour, my almost 5 month old flaps his arms and legs ALL the time and he recently started stomping his feet down and thrusting his tummy/bum in the air during nappy changes. Autism isn't diagnosable until 2 years+ for very good reason, videos like this are unhelpful and misinformed
Can’t open it what’s he doing, my eldest has autism xx
