Fussy baby

Anyone else's baby never seem content? Anytime I put him down he just fusses and wants picking back up, needs constant attention, can't seem to focus on playing with a toy for longer than a minute before whining again, just a bit erratic really. No other signs of teething other than dribble so unsure if to give calpol? I can't move or literally do anything without him crying out for me and whining. But even when I go pick him up he often continues and acts like he wants to be put back down. It seems like whining and screaming is his default even if he's ok, sometimes he makes an awful racket, but when I look over at him and speak to him he smiles. It feels like he's just unhappy to be a baby, and really intelligent and nothing can entertain him for more than a minute. Not sure if anyone experiences anything similar or any tips how to entertain an 18 year old trapped in a 6 month old body!

Not sure if it helps but my LB is the same currently. I invested in wonder weeks and he's currently in a fussy phase during leap 5... so he's been harder to keep busy and really fussy. Like just whining for no reason.

Exactly same here, think it’s a developmental leap!

Ok thank you both. I was worried I was doing something wrong or missing something. He's been like this for weeks now and wonder weeks never seemed to be accurate before so I stopped paying for it 😆 x

My little boy is exactly the same. It seems like he just wants to do everything like standing and sitting up unassisted however he’s not quite there yet. But will get fussy and angry if he’s left laying down. He just wants to constantly be entertained or stand up or sit up.
