@Alyssa yes I’ve been doing the cold and warm!! I got a humidifier too! Do you think at 6 months he could do Pedialyte pops? Just worried because he was so worked up for 3 hours off and on. I need him to definitely eat! I did cold water in a sippy and he had some of that so it was a small win🥲
I started pedialyte when he was like 5 months he got supppper sick and Dr said it was perfectly fine ! They have a children’s one you can throw into water , or popsicles (which ever you prefer) it’s hard I know I hated seeing my son that way! We had a steroid too, but it didn’t help so much. Not sure if your Dr would give you an inhaler ? They gave my son one when it was super hard for him to breath ! Is he on solids ?
Not sure if you’re able to since I’m new to this app . But if you can feel free to message me !
@Alyssa he just started solids. He is 5 1/2 months. The dr gave us the ok for 2 oz of water and solids at 4 1/2 months. I was wondering about the inhaler too. I have asthma and so when I’m sick with a cough it’s worse. So I was wondering if maybe that would help him. I definitely need to get some Pedialyte pops in the morning!
Yeah then he should definitely be fine with the pops ! I know they have them at target ! Yeah ask if you think it’s worse ! My son used his dads (who has asthma as well) but he got his drs permission first ! But it’s definitely hard giving it to them when they’re that small. I would just say keep an eye out after though! It’s hard on their little lungs. My son ended up having asthma after but we didn’t know till he turned 1 ( which explained why it was so hard for him to breath with the croup )
My son got croup at 9 months ! He was the same exact way. He’s most likely fussy cause it’s hard to breathe. His Dr recommended we put him in the bathroom with the hot shower steam then put him near the window when it’s really cold. ( cold & hot somehow make it better) which it 100% did . My son was like that for 7 days and the steam showers help soooo much. Water & pediolite popsicles were our best friend !
