Gel like stringy yellow discharge

I’m 18 weeks pregnant and honestly since the start I’ve had the absolute thickest, stringy like discharge and a lot of it. It doesn’t smell or have an unusual scent and I’ve been to my doctors who have confirmed I don’t have a UTI however everything online is telling me this is abnormal however although it doesn’t come with any symptoms it’s just generally unpleasant. Has anyone else had this or know what it could be.

I had that and eventually ended up with thrush. Started arounnd the 17-18th week and i went to the doctors yesterday for it and confirm it. I am currently 23 weeks.

Same here, I didn’t have any symptoms, only this strange yellow discharge - turned out to be thrush! Have you had a swab done?

@Beatrice I’ve had a urine test done by my midwife but I think this is just for UTI’s, I then called the doctors who transferred me to a sexual health clinic but they only test for STI’s so now I don’t really know where to go!

Gosh, I don’t know! Where I am based, we have a Maternity Assessment Unit and they did the high vaginal swab for me. If you have something similar, maybe you could try give them a call, or ask your midwife a second time. It may be nothing, who knows, but would still be good to check properly if you’re still having the discharge - I think!
