Period after giving birth
Not sure if it’s something I should be concerned about or not but my period still has not started. I’m 15 weeks postpartum and I ebf. I bled a week or so after birth but since then nothing.
Should i contact a doctor or is this normal? When should I expect it to start again?

Yup I don’t think mine came back until about 9 months pp

You may not get periods for a year if you’re EBF! 😊
If you are breastfeeding this is normal. Some people's periods return earlier but the hormonal changes from breastfeeding can delay your periods returning. Some people's don't come back until they stop feeding. Mine came back 21 months pp, I was still breastfeeding. It varies a lot for everyone so it's difficult to say when it will return for you.

I’m the same, I’m nearly 17 weeks pp and still haven’t had a period, I was told when breastfeeding it’s normal not have a period and it usually comes back when baby starts to wean. I believe it’s due to hormones😊
