https://www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding/pdf/preparation-of-breast-milk_h.pdf The CDC says 4 hours but it’s possible guidance varies by country.
4 hours room temperature, 4 days refrigerated and 4 months frozen
I was told by my midwife to follow the three sixes rule - breast milk can be stored 6 hours at room temp, 6 days in fridge, 6 months in freezer (UK based)
Is the four/six hour rule for freshly expressed though? Or does that include milk coming from the fridge? I can’t see anywhere that actually says about milk coming from the fridge (not thawed from frozen)
I've got a bottle warmer and it said to use the milk that's been taken out the fridge within two hours (before being warmed)
3 hrs I think
