Old Faces.
Is it just me or does anyone else hate bumping into people they haven't seen in a long time?
Not the people you wish you could see more often, but those you wish reciprocated the effort into the friendship you wanted with them?
I went through this seeing someone at a local event. I'm not repulsed by her, but I can respectfully say that there is no chance she wants to get together with me. With all that lip service, I'd rather bump into her at events than try to plan anything with her.

As an autistic who was always overlooked throughout my school years, I absolutely hated moving back to my home town. Affordable cost of living though. I keep running into people and I get a mini panic attack, go cold, and tense up, I can feel my heart beat harder. If they pretend to be nice it’s even worse.

Yes, it’s why I hate going back home, you end up running into everyone you don’t want to. I remember when I was working for years we got a new hire, one day I saw him having lunch with his gf who turned out to be someone who completely disrespected my mom, it just ruined my day
