Storing breastmilk

Is it 4 days in fridge or 8 days? I always thought it was 4, but nhs says 8? But I never heard of it being kept that long

In the US, it's 4 days in the fridge, 6 months in the freezer for best quality but up to 12 months, and 12 months in a deep freezer.

We were told rule of 6 - 6 hours at room temperature, 6 days in fridge, 6 months in freezer

I just need to know if milk from Tuesday is okay to use 😩 it’s been at the back of the fridge cause I forgot to freeze it

I personally wouldn't feed it. You can save it to use for a milk bath though. I have a bag in my freezer of unfinished milk to use for a milk bath when I collect enough.

@Kelli I may give it to the toddler if it smells and looks good, god knows he’s tried to have worst 🫣
