Help!!

Hi everyone. My 8 week old is crying constantly today, like a proper red face scream cry. He is normally quite a chilled happy baby, but he has just cried constantly today, doesn't want to be held, doesn't want to be put down. Any ideas on what this could be, I don't think it's wind/gas as we've had that before and it's a different sort of crying. Any suggestions to stop him crying would be greatly appreciated!

Could he be constipated?

@Rachel I don't think so, still having lots of dirty nappies 🤷🏻

Have you checked his temperature?

Mine does this and it’s normally because he’s overtired x

He could be overtired or in pain or have bellyache x

My 9 week old has been doing this recently. We think it's because he's getting more interested in the world, then getting overstimulated, not napping and getting overtired. Honestly we've struggled to settle and I've been feeding him to sleep. Hoping it's a stage that will pass x

Hi lovely! Please please rule out cmpa if this continues! I spent 8 weeks fighting for my little girl to be diagnosed and she’s a different baby on prescription formula! It is not normal for babies to cry all day and get that upset. Yes babies can be “colicky” but colic is a symptom of a deeper issue. Hope he gets sorted lovely x
