I’m pregnant again

I cramped with my pregnancy really bad after my two ectopics. Epu should give you a scan at 5 weeks x

@Zelica I’m feeling more the left side. But I don’t know if I’m just going nuts or imagining it, after the last ectopic in December I’m so terrified to go to a scan.

@Zelica what did your cramps feel like? I’m getting them in my back and the front.

It felt like a bad period , I also had sharp pains from the left side where the tube was removed x

See your GP and get checked over if EPAU aren’t being helpful! X

@Jade she said if I’m in serious pain go to A+E , I’m getting cramps just really scared. I’m still traumatised from last time.

@Zelica after last time it’s bringing back panic and anxiety. I feel like it is but I always think the worst after what’s happened.

I totally get how anxious you are - normal after what you have been through. Why don’t you go to A&E? I know it’s a pain but I’m sure you will feel better for getting checked over. Hopefully it is just normal early pregnancy cramps but you can never be too sure!

@Jade last time the serious pain started when I was 5 weeks pregnant.

@Jade I’m not in serious pain so they won’t do anything. Just cramps. Maybe it’s because I had surgery twice.

I was terrified especially as I had two ectopics previous

Didn't have any other symptoms until about 6/7 weeks when the sickness kicked in

My cramps during early pregnancy after the ectopic were bad too, they did settle eventually

@Jade my pregnancy test lines are just faint, I’m sure it’s ectopic. That’s my last tube so I’ll never get another baby now 😔.

I’d say get checked but only worth going to A&E in a hospital that has a gynae emergency department. I went to Charing cross at first but they had to send me home because there was no one specialised in gynae that could look at me, so I was sent to St Mary’s the next day where they have the gynae emergency. Before you go to whichever A&E i would find out what their gynae provisions are otherwise you’ll just sit there for ages to be sent elsewhere.

@Barbara they don’t do anything for cramps, I’m not in serious pain, if I do get serious pain I’ll be going to A+E. The last time I got sent over to early pregnancy after hours and hours.

Gosh, it’s so hard isnt it… I don’t know where you are but in my experience in London you have to pull your best acting out and pretend it’s worse than it is if you want to get anywhere. I know it’s bad but if you have a gut feeling that something is wrong, you should listen to that and push them in any way possible. Having said that, I think any pregnancy after a loss and especially an ectopic can make you really sensitive to every twinge you feel. I’m really really hoping that the cramps go away and that everything turns out okay for you!

@Barbara no help, I’ll get a scan at 6 weeks. Just have to sit and wait 😤.

@Barbara It says period type cramps are normal online. I’m just so unsure about everything now 😵‍💫. What’s normal what isn’t normal, Just terrified.

@Barbara my ectopic was aggressive last time I had the injection but then needed surgery anyway 😵‍💫. I just don’t want to go through this again. I was so depressed after the 3rd one.
