Still stressed over 2-3

I was getting 2-3 on the week indicator and I thought I was almost 7 weeks when I had my scan and it turns out that I was only 5/6 as they think I ovulated later in my cycle. These clear blue tests aren’t very accurate as I’ve seen a lot of people say the same thing and everything was ok. Try not to get so in your head because of it my lovely x

@Victoria I don’t fully know how far along I am my last period was a lot later than what i think I am but with PCOS my ovulation can be super late. Just by when I got my positive i think I’m 5+3 but I’ve got 2-3 since 4 weeks so it’s been 10 days.

I have also known girls that have gotten 3+ after they turned 7 weeks or never got the 3+ and they were 12 weeks. This is all knew ti me too my lovely as my first pregnancy was an ivf pregnancy so everything was manipulated and they calculate the dates and whatnot. I was told I’d never conceive naturally and now I am 6+ weeks I think. I’ve to go back to the early pregnancy clinic next week to make sure my pregnancy is progressing. @Victoria oh wow that’s amazing congratulations! I don’t remember ever taking the date ones with my son so I can’t remember when I got them last time. I think I just need to stop testing til the early scan then we will know

@Elle yes my lovely. It would honestly put your head away. I tested 3+ with my son but I can’t remember how many weeks I was with him. This time round, i wouldn’t even want to keep testing in case I don’t get the same on the test and then drive myself mental. The only way you could know for sure is if you got a reassurance scan as they’d be able to work it out for you as they did this for me. They went off my cycle, when I got my first positive and my hcg levels. So fingers crossed when I go back next Wednesday I see that beautiful little flicker. But message me if you want to chat.

I think the tests only picks up from when you actually conceived where as your due date goes from your last period which adds on the weeks x

@ARC yeah it does. I went to the early pregnancy clinic last Thursday thinking I was 6 weeks and 6 days and they told me that they could only see a yolk sac which would’ve made me around 5/6 weeks. They said going off my first positive test and my cycle I must’ve ovulated later on. I’ve to go back next Wednesday to make sure my pregnancy has progressed. All being well I’ll see a beautiful little heartbeat x

I still got 2-3 at 5+1 and got so stressed about it. I decided to not even bother testing agaib for 3+, just kept using strip tests to make sure lines were getting darker. Not worth the stress, the variations of ‘normal’ for hcg margins at that stage are too broad, some might get it at 5 weeks and some at 6 x

@Annie I ended up having an early scan yesterday due to some spotting. I’m around 6 weeks and have a heartbeat! I still don’t have 3+ don’t stress over it!

@Elle I only got my 3+ on a clear blue yesterday and I’m around 7 weeks now. Go for my scan on Wednesday to make sure baby has grown and a heart beat x
