episiotomy during birth
Any other mamas had to have a episiotomy? Almost 5 months postpartum and it still feels tight down there during intercourse, is that normal? I also feel like it feels different somtimes and I’m more sensitive down there. Does that ever go away? I went to my postpartum check up and the doctor told me she couldn’t even tell I was cut but i definitely still feel I was (not painful) just sensitive sometimes In the spot.

Yeah it almost feels like they put extra stitches in? Weird I hope that feeling goes away for us over time .
None here but kinda felt the same with my first baby and tearing. I was told it was scar tissue and once that 100% completely healed and stretched again then it’d be better. And that was true for me, so perhaps it’ll just take some time?

No episiotomy, but I did have a 2nd degree tear and the same thing. I almost want to ask for them to make a little cut to losen it up a bit bc sex is not super pleasant. I'm also still sensitive in the place they stiched up too. I hope it goes away
