I do after every use.
I did a quick clean/rinse of my hand pump one night and the next morning all my milk was mixed with soap after I noticed excessive bubbles that didn’t look like air bubbles.. I was mortified (milk wasn’t given to my LO) so now I’m paranoid and keep washing every part with caution.
Usually at night I’ll just put them in my mini fridge because I’m not walking downstairs at 3 in the morning to wash them lol . But I wash them when we’re up for the day & wash them after each use throughout the day. But I usually only pump 5-6 times a day
I rinse with hot water after each use, with the occasional put in fridge between if I plan to pump close together. I take apart once daily
I exclusively pump and wash all the parts after every pump session. I have 3 sets of parts so that helps!
I do after every use, BUT I have two sets AND a bottle washer. If I didn’t, I’d be using the fridge hack…
I don’t want my kids to get sick from a dirty pump but I hate cleaning every time. I often find myself just putting the pump in the fridge to keep it cold
