Looks promising. Keep monitoring them but try and go about your day. I had this but it stopped and started for 10 days before it really kicked in. Wait for your waters to go, you need pain management or you are 3 contractions in 10 minutes. When they say you know the difference between early labour and active labour they really do mean it. I can only describe it as I felt like he was using my cervix as a corkscrew. He was born at 38+5 after 8 hours of active labour x
This could be very early labour. I started getting pains like this 3 days before my baby arrived. It was far more uncomfortable on the day they started than the day I actually was considered "in labour" though!
Yes this is how my early labour started, I cooked some dinner and went to my final NCT class. Lost my mucus plug at the class. Just try to do nice things! I know people have said it can go a long time but mine started around 2pm and little one was born 12pm the next day. It was probably around 4am when I couldn’t sleep through the pain any more and got up. Keep timing them and go to maternity when they are every 5 minutes and at least 1 minute long.
Don’t wait for your waters to go like others have said, mine never went! I still don’t even know when they broke my waters in labour!
This could be the start of labour approaching I never lost my mucus plug my waters went at 37 weeks my contractions were mild period pains one every 3 minutes form start to finish you could always ring up your maternity unit for advice but they will just tell you wait til your waters have gone usually xx
