Hey! I ebf my twin girls they’ll be 9 months in two days. This is my second time breastfeeding (fed my toddler for 19 months). We had trouble at the start because they were tongue tied and it wasn’t fixed for 8 weeks. I did pump in hospital as they had NG tubes but stopped once we got home. Of course if there are health concerns do what is right for you and babies but my advice would be keep putting babies on the boob ALL the time. Try different positions (mine hated tandem rugby ball hold), try feeding seperately occasionally and make sure you eat and drink plenty! Your body responds to the demand your babies want. It is super tough to feed two babies so you’re doing amazing already! Message me if you wanted to chat x
I nursed our twins for a year and a half before we decided to wean. Try a heating pad on your chest a few minutes before a session, lactation cookies, eating oatmeal sent my supply into overdrive, also pumping can help!
I manged 6 months , with powerpumping but it was HARD ...biggest tip...eat ...A LOT !! Xxx
@Amber I remember how hungry I got with one.
