I’m worried

Has anyone had visible breast lumps when boobs are engorged that go down after feeding ? I have dense breast tissue

Yes I get the same one everyday on the right side of my right breast

@Teela like you can see it from the outside of your skin ? I’m freaking out 😭

Oh yea I use it as a visual indicator for how badly I need to pump if I'm super busy and forget to pump

Mine do that overnight if she doesn’t wake up but go down with pumping / feeding! I think it’s just engorgement. I would say if it isn’t painful and goes away and no fever you’re good!

@Teela okay I’m glad I posted. I went to the ob today and they wrote me in for a mamo and ultrasound I’m only 30 with a 5 month old I’m sstressed

I'm 30 also soon to be 31 with an almost 6 month old he was supposed to be a November boy but he headed up as an October boy

I'm also 30 with a 5 month old. My breasts definitely do this too. My OB was unconcerned because they are soft when not full.

@Teela after your baby feeds if you push hard enough can you still kind of feel that spot or does it 100% go away because I feel like I still feel it it’s just harder to find and seems smaller I guess

I can usually still feel the duct after he feeds but I have an oversupply so if I pump to empty I usually can't find it again.

@MK hoping it’s just a duct for me also 😭

No i can still feel it it's the memory glands obviously easier to find when engorged with milk but they don't go away just because you've nursed
