Undecided birth plan.
Hello ladies,
I’m currently pregnant with my 4th and I’ve had 3 vaginal births sustained 2nd degree tears on all 3. When I had my 3rd baby at 35 I was tiring quickly in the delivery room I think they also had me pushing earlier than I should have and I passed out think that was just due to a drop in my blood pressure. I’m debating now at 37 on asking for a elective C-section as I just feel it’ll be more planned so will ease my anxiety however I’m wanting to hear others stories on their healing journey after a C-section.
T.I.A 😊
My first was a c section. I had a great healing experience. Some pain getting up and down, sleeping positions etc for the the first week, then started feeling much better and was driving myself by 2 weeks. Take it easy, but also move as much as you can and go for walks, even starting out small and getting longer each day. I was only on pain meds for a few days, a week max, but not long. That being said, she was my first baby and I didn’t have other kids I was tending to. I’m your age and 36 weeks pregnant with my second. I’m still debating on trying for a vbac or going through with my planned c section. My biggest concern this time is having my toddler, not being able to lift her or be as active straight away with her.
