I’ve also got a 2.5 year old and I make sure she’s busy doing something whilst I put baby down for his nap. I’m finding buggy naps in the hall are working best for him. We use white noise, with the hood of the pram as far over as possible, he’s reclined and I will gently rock the pram until he goes off. Works for each nap and it means I can take him out too if we don’t want to stay indoors. X
@Laura Thanks, that sounds good. We don’t have the space anywhere to do this unfortunately!
@Georgina It is exhausting! My first was like this too and I remember feeding to sleep on the bed and then just removing my boob and ninja rolling away 😂 It was an art form! Or just succumbing at contact napping. I sadly just can’t because my toddler needs me!
This sounds like my baby - if they aren’t contact napping or feeding to sleep they don’t want to know. If I put him down then I get probably 20 mins at most whereas on me he will happily sleep for an hour or more. I don’t have any other children but it would be nice to have even a tiny bit of relief. Hope we both manage to find a way soon as it’s exhausting.
