Lowering Cot

So our Cot was on a middle level and overnight ( a very rough one indeed) my LO learnt the great new skill of pulling himself up and standing! 👏 When standing the top of the cot would be around around armpit level so we’ve lowered the cot to the lowest setting now - but oh my god he looks so deep inside and I feel like he’s lost in there. My husband said he doesn’t like the feeling of it all and wants to prop it back up Has anyone lowered their cot to the lowest setting and had the same feelings? Did your babies adjust fine to it?

I went straight to the lowest setting once he started sitting up in his cot. Now he’s standing up jumping and all sorts. I didn’t see the point at moving to the middle one as they learn things so quickly I thought I’ll be moving to the bottom in a few weeks anyway 🤣 The video is the bottom setting and him refusing to nap hahah

We did the same once he could pull to stand, we got used to it quite quickly!

Not sure about anyone else but this was a really sad part for me. We dropped ours when lb started sitting up and now within the space of a month he’s learnt to crawl and pull him self up cruising the sofa 🥹

Mines been lowered the whole time as he went into his older brothers room. So he’s always been down low.

We lowered it a few weeks ago as I watched her pull herself up on the monitor. She's been absolutely fine. Much worse for them to be able to topple out!
