It sounds like she’s got her days and nights mixed up. Try make sure her naps are in bright rooms, depending on her age wake her up if she’s been asleep for too long and make sure she’s drinking enough during the day (I breastfeed every 2hrs approx, may be a bit longer for formula but research this based on her age!) give her a night routine and make sure the room is dark! I’ve found they sleep longer after baths so maybe you can add this to her bedtime routine to help! Goodluck🤍
My little one is 8 weeks and breastfed, she’s always woke up twice at night 2 & 5 Some nights she’s missed the 2am feed. She wants to feed every 3 hours roughly. Once we got discharged from the midwife we were aloud to feed on demand and could stop setting alarms to feed. But the longer they go in the day they will make up for it at night. So try to not let her go longer than 5 hours in the day. I always feed before I go to sleep and make sure that in the day they sleep just as it is so be noisy don’t try to be quite, hoover if you need too don’t make rooms dark and at night be quiet and rooms dark etc.
They don’t develop any circadian rhythm until 4 months so just need to follow her signs but you can help create difference with night and day by making day time naps loud and bright, and night time sleep dark and quiet. Ensuring naps aren’t too long in the day and she is fed enough to create enough sleep Pressure at night time so she’s not too alert x
I saw a video from a paediatrician who said that babies have a ‘calorific cup’ which is the amount of calories they need in a day. She said that if they don’t eat enough calories in the day they’ll feed more at night to make up for the missed calories. I’m not sure how accurate that is. But I can say that my little girl feeds a lot in the day, and doesn’t really feed much at night anymore! Good luck, I hope you crack it
