Is this normal?

My LO seems really off the past few days. He doesn't want to lay down and play at all, he just wants to be held and walked around the house all day otherwise he screams. He's also sleeping A LOT, by the time he wakes up hes crying and wanting to go back to nap again. He's gone from having 3.5hr nap days to 5hr nap days. He isn't showing any signs of illness, no temp, cough or congestion at all. He's also not really wanting his milk, he's more snacking having 3oz and then wanting 2oz more 2hrs later whereas he'd normally drink 5/6oz every 4hrs and would get angry if we tried to bring the feed forward. He's 5.5months now, is this normal, is he going through a growth spurt maybe?

Could he be teething? My kids always sleep more, eat less when they’re teething

@kaitlyn He could be, his first bottom tooth came in a month ago and his second came through 2 weeks ago, could he be getting the top ones already?

Teething! They get really clingy when they are teething and refuse to eat. And some babies sleep longer and wake up more during the night. All normal

@Beth yes! my daughters bottom teeth came through and shortly after, I’d say a couple weeks as well, she’s teething on top too! The top ones have her so much more irritable this time around too 😣

My baby is exactly the same - he’s sleeping more in the day, irritable when on the mat and wants to be held and got a slight fever. One of his bottom teeth is cutting through and I am suspecting the second is cutting through as well now. He’s really clingy and unlike himself so it must be bothering him 🥺 he’s 6months and 1week

Mine is the same with less appetite tbh I’m chalking it up to teething as two wee ones started to poke out the last few days
