They’ll be there before we know it. I usually put things in front of him when he’s sitting just out of reach. And that’s how he leans forward and ends up on all fours.
Mine is almost 9 months old and loves to army crawl everywhere
hey mama, how old is your baby? we started doing tummy time early for a few minutes everyday and also doing pull up exercises! it may take a little while for him to build his strength but doing the little activities will help SO much in the long run. my boy started crawling right around 7.5-8 months and doing a lot of rolling as well lol be easy on yourself you’re doing great!!
It just happens naturally on its own timeline just let it be
He will get there, every baby develops differently. I honestly did nothing and my 9 month old is almost walking. One thing that has helped him is to play in his playmate a lot or putting him on the floor. I always try to put his favorite toy a little far from him so he can try and reach for it.
my daughter started crawling at six months old and rolling at one month old, but my son was very slow in development he had a bad reaction to a vaccine
Mine does a mix of rolling and army crawling to get where he wants to go. He’s 9 months! My ped said some babies never crawl and go straight to walking so I’m not putting too much pressure on him
That sounds way more fun. Why aren't we rolling our way around?
@Sierra he’s 9 months😂 I started tummy time so early but when he learned to roll he’d just roll himself out of it every time.
@Tiffany honestly think he loves it because he will laugh while he’s going. But my pediatrician asked me to look at ways to encourage it. I know he will get there, just looking to see how other moms encourage the crawling or walking.
My son just started crawling literally yesterday. All I did was sit him on the floor everyday and put stuff in front of him that he really likes and let him try and figure out how to get it. I also showed him how to crawl by getting on the floor with him and crawling. babies learn and do things at their own pace. I didn’t know he could pull up on things until I seen him doing it.
My girl has been crawling backwards for just over a week now, but it’ll come when she’s ready.

Same here.
