Partner acts like a beached whale in the night...

Anyone else's partner? Our little girl is breastfed so it's me who does the night feeds and wake ups. The amount of times I've just watched those little eyes start to drop off only for my husband to start wrestling Mike Tyson in the bed next to me. Duvet goes up in the air, pillows get flipped, turned sideways, thrown out, he's grunting like a little pig. And of course, during this performance baby girl is back wide awake. It's the most infuriating thing. I cannot wait for her to have her own nursery space, mostly so she doesn't have to contend with her Dad who's acting like he's trying to pull on a pair of 2008 skinny jeans at 4am under the covers (millennial mum reference). I might join her in the nursery to be honest... maybe then we'll both manage to sleep through. 😉 Love a sleep deprived ma xo

😂 😂 My husband can be similar. I genuinely think he doesn’t know he’s doing it. Then there’s the snoring 🫠🫠if she does sleep through it I certainly don’t. He sleeps in the spare room in the week and comes back to our bed at the weekend. And as much as I love him I enjoy the bed to myself

😂😂

I'm sorry but reading this has made my morning 😂

Oh this made me laugh 😆 My other half is now sleeping in our 4 year olds room as he kept waking baby up with these exact things!

Hahaha omg the way you wrote this is hilarious 😂 I can’t relate as my husband and I haven’t slept in the same bed since baby was born (one of us sleeps in the nursery with baby girl) but I’m now thinking that was probably a wise choice 😂 xx

🤣🤣🤣 Not as bad as this, but it's the snoring for me 🥲 In the morning I say about the wake ups/feeds and he hits me with 'oh yeah well I was awake too'....oh so we have a snoring ghost do we 🤣

@Holly It's the snoring for me too, drives me mad!! Especially when I'm on my 3rd feed of the night and he's sleeping peacefully next to me and snoring like a warthog. Then in the morning he says "the baby didn't wake up last night!".... like REALLY?? 😳 next time I'll ask him if he thinks we have a snoring ghost 😂
