Poor sleep

It hard to watch your kids struggle with sleep every night. I’ve been sitting in my kids room for almost 3 hours while they flop on the bed and get up and lay down and roll around there bed and talk to themselves. We have tried melatonin and it does help them relax it’s always the same issue. They wake up between 12-5 every night for 1-4 hours.

I actually lengthened my son's day.. woke him up early at a set time, gave him a shorter nap and had him go to bed a little later. He would still wake up once during the night but would go right back to sleep once I laid down with him. I did this for a couple of days and he got into a sleep routine. It was definitely rough at first, but now.. he's sleeping through the night from 10-530. I go down there for a few hours and he wakes for the day at 8. My second son is completely different from my first. I tried everything for my second to sleep and nothing worked besides this. Some children are just different with their sleeping schedules. 🫶

@Paige oh i know this is kid 3 out of 4. he has all the issues. he also shares a room with his sister, so it makes it kind of hard.

Ohh, I see ... Yeah, makes it a little more difficult I'd say. My advice is to just adjust his awake time. I can't even say to try something specific because we tried everything and it just wouldn't work, besides the longer wake times.
