Hi Darcey. You can put her in the seat but only for 1-2 hours nap not for night sleep. I would also advise getting rocker/swinger,if you can, they are more comfy than the car seats and more safe i assume but again you can only use it for naps. I hope it helps.

@Tanya it does thank you, its been a nightmare trying to find things I'm allowed to use for her, I've got a carrier but I can't wear it for hours because it destroys my back x

I had a wedge that went inside my seat unit and I reclined it But you can roll a blanket under her head under the carrycot mattress to raise her up also My little girl has silent reflux Let me see if I can find the wedge I used

@Darcey I would recommend you see a sling consultant. If the sling is hurting you, it will be because either you are not fitting it correctly to you and your baby (this is very common!) or it is not the right carrier for you. Carriers and slings are like jeans - you have to find the right one for you! Like Leah suggested, I would pop a blanket under the mattress of the bassinet to raise it a little. @Leah my daughter has silent too, I've tried a blanket underneath and it doesn't settle her, it's like she just thinks being in the bassinet means pain bless her x

@Larissa I've tried a few, I've got a bad back so I think it's just hard on my back with it being so crap x

@darcey if you have a bad back, definitely speak to a sling consultant. My local one charges £5 to show you how to fit your own one properly. It can be just a little tweak which can make a big difference. It's not worth making your bad back worse for a £5 check!

@Larissa I'll definitely look into it, im honestly so so tired from having her glued to me x
