I really struggled with nausea as well. For me it really helped when I stopped fighting it and just throw up. Not forcing it or something, but not fighting it either. Other than that, just make sure you don't have an empty stomach, have some biscuits next to the bed. Some people say ginger nuts, but I found it would make it worse for me. You can also look into nausea wristbands, they took the edge of of it for me.
This is what I was like with my first, it peaked at about 12 weeks and then last sickness I had was 20w. I found high protein helped, eggs and bananas and also smelling lemon scented things and eating lemon helped!
When I was 6 weeks pregnant and feeling nauseous I always put fresh ginger under my tongue it really helps to put the nausea down ..I hope it will work for you
Ask for Xonvea from your GP….. for me it worked a treat before taking that I was bed bound. I wouldn’t have gotten through the first few months. I still take them now at almost 38 weeks!
@Liesl I’ve been eating if I don’t eat I feel sick , if I do eat I feel sick so I just eat. I have Been throwing up , I literally don’t fight it I would rather just be sick then feel it all the time haha. I’ve tried ginger and it hasn’t worked however I’ll try the wrist bands Thankyou xx
@Kate Thankyou! X
@Ellie Thankyou I have tried ginger biscuits but maybe fresh ginger would work x
@Holly okay I’ll try this Thankyou so much x
Pineapple helped me but xonvea was the game changer. I also had cyclizine as well as for really bad days.
Try sour sweets, hard sweets or eating a bit of lime, it helped me for atleast 30 minutes at a time but it was better than that constant dry heaving and sick feeling!
i relied on ginger but biscuits quite alot as in my first trimester. i was feeling so worse for wear throwing up n all but that eases the nauseas feeling
To also add. I’m either being sick , feeling sick or dry heaving and gagging and nothing comes out. It’s all day , it hasn’t stopped 😅😅
