Completely normal! Breastfed babies can go up to a week without a bowel movement. My 3 month old likes to go every 6 days. Unfortunately that means we have poo-splosions on that 6th day 😅 as long as she's not straining to poop, seems comfortable, and having plenty of wet diapers, there's nothing to worry about.
EBF babies under 6 weeks need to poo at least once a day. There is a lot of misinformation and often HV unfortunately do not know! Because baby is over 6 weeks and it’s just a day, I wouldn’t worry too much. Hey, my baby is also EBF. On one occasion we went about 5 days without a poo and it almost drove me mad! I was reassured that provided wet nappies are still coming through and baby is feeding well, anything below a week without a poo isn’t a cause for concern! That blew my mind 😂 Do check in with your health visitor if you’re worried though.
