My daughter won't even go to sleep on her own lol. I have to nurse her to sleep every night and she wakes up on average 2-3 times before 1am then more often than not sleeps through until 8am after that, but she has been waking up maybe once or twice after 1am recently as she's teething. She has never took to bottles or a dummy and will only go back to sleep if I nurse her so I feel like I'm kinda trapped with breastfeeding although I'd like to stop but I don't agree with the cry it out method x
You are not alone! Mine still wakes regularly. Will have the odd night or two where she will sleep through. On a good night it's 1 wake. On a bad night she can be up a few times then wakes at 1am and won't go sleep until 5am 🤪 or will be up every half an hour although those times where mostly when she was sick or teething. I'd love to stop breastfeeding but sometimes it's easy to just feed back to sleep when I'm tired.....
My little boy would wake up multiple times a night, every 2-3 hours and the only way to get him back down was to feed him. I couldn’t take it anymore and had to do some sleep training which I said I never wanted to do but he finally started sleeping through (mostly) from 13 months as he finally learned to self settle! 🙏🏼
@Kirsty did it even a bit of crying it out that’s hardest part for me with other kids it wakes everyone up and we are too exhausted 😩
Never has! Beginning to think he never will 🙃 we were down to 1-2 wakes which were literally wonderful. But I think he’s in a regression/has a nasty cold and is teething and the past week has been absolutely horrific again. I mean, he was up 5 times last night. One was over an hour long and then he was up at 6.15 bright as a button 😩
