@Scarlett I’m getting all the signs that I had with my first one towards 39-40weeks, such as on off pains, I can barely walk, increased discharge, peeing every hour etc
If you go into labour before your scheduled section they just send you straight for an ‘emergency’ section. Unless you want to try for a VBAC. Just tell triage if you end up calling them with contractions
Not sure what your reasons are for section but I think if you’re lucky enough for your body to go into natural labour and doctors are happy why not maybe give it a go? I’m booked in for a section at 42 weeks but absolutely desperate for a VBAC so hoping I can go into natural labour myself before then 🙏
I’m booked in for a an elective section and was told by my midwife that I can still request for a section if I go into labour early. It can depend how far you’re along! x
