regardless, you could always do things to support your milk supply i find that eating oats helps aloooot and mothers milk tea, LOTS of water and protein packed meals
If their output is good then they are getting enough!! You’re doing great mama
I used to be so worried about my son not eating enough but after every weight check he was gaining just fine, that’s when i decided to stop timing feeds and just make sure he had good output
You got this girl. Your doing amazing. I couldnt imagine feeding 2 little ones an it sounds like you are keeping up amazing. Your body has just hit the point where it knows how much to out put. Honestly babies eatting from bottles is way different then breast because the flow is completely different and the amount they can intake is different.Trust your littles ones are eating just fine. You are doing so amazing ❤️❤️
@Travaughn currently up with no sleep and pumping. This brought me to tears! I needed to hear this. So sweet thank you 🥺♥️♥️
Trust beautiful i definitely understand. That doubt creeps in an you just cant help but worry. Your littles are doing just fine an your body is doing exactly what it needs to do to make what they need. I know how intimidating it can be to see them take down a 6oz bottle like its nothing. But the way they eat from a bottle compared to breast is way different so its easier for them to get more in one feeding on bottle then breast. Because in breast they get mommy cuddles to so its hard for them to stay awake for a full feed. I read that on breast they get up to about 3-4oz max in a feed before they start drifting to sleep. An thinking about it an watching how my son would feed after that made so much sense. So you are doing amazing an your littles are happy an healthy an getting everything that need. Keep up the good work you are so strong mama bear❤️
Well done, you! I’ve said I have no idea how women with twins breastfeed, so you are doing amazingly well. Like has been said, as long as nappies are okay and babies are gaining weight, you’re fine! Keep strong and do not give up!
4 months is a crazy age. If they are gaining weight well, your supply is fine. If not, work with a lactation consultant. Lucy is great, but I’ve also heard of this twin BF consultant https://www.instagram.com/s/aGlnaGxpZ2h0OjE4MzU0MzU2NzAxMTEwNDQ5?story_media_id=3415690334535315047&igsh=aTJjdnFtdmRjY2Qy https://www.instagram.com/stories/lucywebberfeedingsupport_ibclc/3614774145528634648?igsh=MWVxMHNjdDZqcmh3bw== https://kathrynstaggibclc.com/breastfeeding-twins-and-triplets/
@Moon what do you mean 4 months is a crazy age??
Just meant that babies are quite fussy then, see this pos. https://www.instagram.com/p/C9mmq1hNhk_/?igsh=bGxmbjVpeHFhMHZ6
4 months? tbh it just sounds like your milk supply has been established so you shouldn’t be leaking all the time and engorgement wouldn’t happen as often(an oversupply is never the goal) and if babies are constantly on breast that is going to continue to signal that milk demand
