Help

My daughter is 7 weeks old tomorrow and screams like she's in constant pain, she's on gaviscon, colief, grip water and sma alfamino but nothing is working, she's only ever settled when she's asleep and when she's awake she's only happy for a few minutes before the screaming and arching her back and clenching her fists, im at my wits end, could be it be something else making her belly bad? Advice please

I commented about a cows milk allergy but then realized that the milk you are using is for that. What's the baby's poop like as gaviscon can cause constipation

Ask your gp to an alternative to gaviscon. She may have suffered with reflux prior to the gaviscon but then gaviscon giving her tummy pain from constipation. I HATE baby gaviscon and hated it with all three of mine who’ve gone on it, alternative can’t remember the name worked wonders for my now 3yo who didn’t need it past 12m

We went through very similar, we have tried all sorts, I found gaviscon made her 100 x worse. We are now on Aptimel pepti for CMPA and Carobel to add to the bottles instead of gaviscon, it thickens the feeds and stops her reflux being as bad. We also sit her up whilst feeding and for 30 minutes after, she’s still quite sicky/refluxy but no where near as bad and is back to being a happy baby again without the constant pain xx
