Biting

Hi all, My LO is almost 8 months now and he keeps biting my nipple at every feed, I’m so scared to feed him haha. I have tried so many things like: saying ow, yelping, pushing face into boob, saying no, immediately stopping the feed and putting him down, unlatching. It doesn’t matter what I do he just laughs at me. He has even bitten my partner’s shoulder when being held. Does anyone have any other tips on what we could try? I don’t want to have to express and bottle feed.

Don’t react, take him off gently and repeat until he stops

There’s also nipple shields but apparently they can reduce milk production and sometimes make it harder for baby to drink

Some advice here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CozAq6oNd0h/?igsh=MTl5Nng4cTFrOHlwOQ== It’s usually a latch issue as they shouldn’t be able to bite in a proper latch x
