Breast pads!! The leakage is real! And a good nursing bra that clips down. Good pump, I use Madela. Storage bags/bottles and bottles I use Mam if your planning on giving a bottle as well I would start around 5/6 weeks and keep at it just one a day (I do before bed) I stopped and he refused it for a while it took a lot for him to start taking a bottle again. A Hakka is good you can put it on the other breast when feeding as it leaks. Hope this helps xxx
Breast pads or collection shells for around the house to use the milk (most likely for skin treatments if needed). We started with mam bottles but she refused them after a little bit. We used Nuk perfect match and she takes them so much better plus they're cheaper. Different nursing bras both none wired and wired if you can afford. I started getting eczema from the lack of support in none wired nursing bras and it gets painful and itchy no matter what I use to treat it. I would also make sure you have a comfy chair and a supportive pillow/cushion for yourself. My back killed in the first few weeks from all the bed feeds I did
Would really recommend reading Breastfeeding and the fourth Trimester by Lucy Webber. It explains so much. She’s also a fantastic resource on Instagram. Also research and find out of there are any breastfeeding support groups local to you/feeding support. I went to an NCT breastfeeding cafe at about 2 weeks and went every week for the first few months as they helped with latch and and also just gave me confidence to breastfeed in public too x
