Sleep regression

Our 12 month sleep regression has started and I'm absolutely shattered 😭 any tips for a mamma who gets zero help!

I'm just waiting for our regression to hit. I'll join you in the trenches as I'm all out of ideas and also get no help 😅 I've heard keeping them up later can help but honestly I don't want to give up my only free couple of hours I get.

The only way we avoid the trenches of an evening at the moment is to give our girl her 2nd nap, which she has pushed very late with her long wake windows. I'm tossing up going to bed late overstimulated or being up half the night or very early

Honestly i think we got out of it after a week because my little girl went a full day with only about 45 minutes of a nap in the morning and a later bed time, meaning she had about an 8 hour wake window, she was absolutely exhausted, slept the full night and it's like it was a reset button. Defo don't recommend though because that girl was grumpy.

Oh lord our bedtime has turned into blooming 11pm the only way he’s not up being bonkers all night🫣

We have to make sure our day is around 14 hours (with around 12h of awake and the rest is day sleep). Then the night is pretty good. But yeah to make sure she is down by 8.30pm we need to start the day 6.30am tops
